Today something marvelous happened. I ran out of appraisals to work through. This never happens. So I thought I’d talk a little about what I do for a living!
I look at this about 85 times today. If you’ve ever financed a mortgage you’ve probably got one of these for you house. As the underwriter I check the appraiser’s work and make sure houses are valued correctly.
It’s pretty interesting- I’ve learned a lot about house values, the real estate market, communication in the business world…
